Over eleven years, TABEI has grown from a single conference into a working ecosystem.
2016
The first Blockchain Enthusiasts Conference
Taiwan's longest-running large-scale blockchain summit started here. Since 2016 the association has held the Blockchain Enthusiasts Conference every year, inviting industry leaders to share trends and new applications, and bringing developers, startups, enterprises, and the policy community into the same room — a line that continues to this day.
2019.03
TABEI, the Taiwan Association for Blockchain Ecosystem Innovation, is founded
On 29 March 2019 the enthusiast community was formally incorporated as the Taiwan Association for Blockchain Ecosystem Innovation, moving from meet-ups to a legal entity. A group of people who genuinely love blockchain set out to advance the industry through public-private collaboration, connecting government, enterprises, and the community, and laying the groundwork for the venue and research platform that followed.

N24 Taipei Ark innovation incubation base opens
A startup base under the Taipei City Department of Economic Development, and Asia's first demonstration site for Web3 technology innovation.
2022.07
Cosy Space and the Taipei Ark team jointly create a shared space
A co-branded shared space built by Cosy Space and the Taipei Ark team, which became the everyday setting for community gatherings and cross-sector collaboration. Open seating and event areas let exchange, experimentation, showcases, and co-creation happen under one roof — the Web3 community moved from online into a physical place, turning ideas into concrete action.

Co-hosting the first Taipei Blockchain Week
Co-hosted the first Taipei Blockchain Week (TBW) with ecosystem partners. TBW exists to build a stage where Taiwan's developers, founders, and practitioners can connect internationally and attract overseas investment, and where outstanding founders and developers from abroad can come to Taiwan and meet the local community face to face.
2023.05
dESG, the Decentralized Sustainable Development Alliance, is founded
The association initiated Taiwan's Decentralized-ESG alliance (dESG.tw). Against the global movement towards sustainability and net-zero transition, it advocates using blockchain's 3T characteristics — trust, transparency, and traceability — to support corporate ESG work, connecting the sustainability and Web3 communities around where blockchain and sustainable development meet.

DADRC, the Digital Assets Development Research Center, is founded
A research platform focused on digital assets, stablecoins, asset tokenization, and policy development. DADRC connects industry, government, academia, and professional institutions to encourage research exchange, public discussion, and industry collaboration, bringing research, policy, and market practice onto one platform — from research reports and policy submissions to open courses, steadily building public discussion of digital assets in Taiwan.

The tenth Blockchain Enthusiasts Conference
The conference reached its tenth edition, focusing on three trends: assets that merge the physical and digital, anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering advocacy, and TechFin in practice.

DADRC Municipal Government station training classroom opens
The research center's physical training venue opened with a series of digital-asset courses. From the fundamentals of DeFi, RWA tokenization, and stablecoins and on-chain payments, through to AI agents, digital identity, and smart authorization, it turns research capacity into courses that newcomers can follow — teaching and training now have a permanent home.
